The "Protect Your Identity Online" awareness campaign launched today
The minister of Services gouvernementaux, Mrs Dominique Vien, launched today the third information security and protection of personal information awareness campaign. The objective of this campaign, which theme is Protect Your Identity Online, is to raise Internet users' awareness in using good practices while surfing or making transactions online. It is conducted in collaboration with the Information Security Institute of Québec (ISIQ) and the support of partner organisations and businesses. The 2009 campaign will take place mainly online and invites users to participate in various online activities between November 9 and 27.
